UX Designer

BH Management - The Legacy Project - A real estate management company that specializes in property management. The Legacy Project is a ‘Special Projects’ project headed by the company owner, Harry Bookey, for his family legacy.

March 2015 – June 2015 

The Legacy Project developed a shareable database for families of prestige that could be passed down. All images, articles, content and interactions to be digitally stored and saved on a cloud that is easily navigated and searched, with a public and private facing interface. My role was to design a prototype of these interactions.

  • Worked with a small team of 3 (Designer, Developer and Manager) and utilized Trello to manage tasks, Slack to manage communication, and WebFlow to discuss and critique mockups

  • Prepared a thorough timeline and scope of work with specific detail

  • Established a detailed Strategic Product Plan that highlighted research, the target, user needs, business needs, technical needs, the product and the output

  • Built custom surveys in Google Forms for the families user research and built a response analysis

  • Developed Personas based off the data from the surveys and conducted journey maps that laid out the user's goals, thoughts, feelings, and actions

  • Conducted user cases that identified the user goal, the application goal, and potential problems; then, mapped out the main flow and alternative flows for each action

Responsible for managing and maintaining websites for 50+ small business clients in Contract Development. Process consisted of: meeting, brainstorming, wireframes, design mockups, implementation, testing, publishing, and continual maintenance.

  • Job duties included 70% design tasks and 30% management tasks

  • Built in-depth wireframes in Balsamiq to walk the client through an interactive layout of the site.

  • Designed all aesthetics of the site: style, layout, banners, graphics, buttons and often logos

  • Designed Hi-fi mockups with two applications dependent on the material: Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Illustrator.
